SundayGet settled and welcome dinner, an intro to traditional regional Italian cuisine
Meeting at Senigallia train station or Ancona airport. Private transfer to our four star hotel, renowned for its outstanding service. From there you can admire beautiful views of the Adriatic sea and of the center of the town with the fortress, arched walkways and river promenade. Accommodation in your “prestige rooms” with a great variety of comforts.
A fish and seafood dinner is waiting for us at a restaurant on the beach. That is how we are going to welcome you in Le Marche! Of course, fish is going to be the most important actor of our dinner but it is going to be preciously matched with delicious vegetables, refreshing side dishes and indigenous wines. 

Monday - Wine and extra virgin olive oil tasting and cooking lesson
After an extensive buffet breakfast we leave for Corinaldo, a jewel in the hills, jokingly called, “Town of the Crazy Ones”. Walking tour of this town.
Drive to Cartoceto for wine and extra virgin olive oil tastings. The owner will teach us how to taste this precious product during our light lunch based on cheeses and salumi. Cartoceto area produces the best extra virgin olive oil of Le Marche.
Back to Senigallia.
In the afternoon drive to a private home close to Senigallia for an Italian cooking lesson with Simonetta learning regional recipes. Dinner of your creations.

Tuesday - Visit of Ancona, wine tasting, cooking lesson on bread and fish dinner
In the morning drive along the coast to visit Portonovo, a pictoresque bay that seats at the bottom of the majestic forested mountain and offers extraordinary views of the neighboring coastline and the sea.
In the late morning drive to a beautiful winery, in the area of the Rosso Conero wine production, through the hills patchworked with gold and green fields, forests, orchards and wildflowers, overlooking the sea. Wine tasting and light lunch at the outstanding farmhouse.
After lunch drive to Ancona, Le Marche capital. Guided visit of the historic center of the town with an English speaking guide (with a minimum of 4 people)
Drive to a very little mill for a fantastic cooking lesson at the farmhouse on bread with the flour just made. Fish dinner accompained with the bread you made and vegetables,  drinking one of the most famous wines of the region Verdicchio white wine, produced in the area.

Wednesday - Truffle hunting with the dog, wine and olive oil tasting
In the morning drive to the area of Acqualagna for a truffle hunting adventure with the truffle hunter and his highly-trained dogs in the forest.
Before lunch visit of a truffle products factory where they make truffle sauces, pasta with truffles and more products that you can purchase.
Lunch with the truffle hunter enjoying simple dishes with truffles at a local unpretentious trattoria where the food is shocking!
Back to the hotel. In the afternoon drive to visit a winery that produces the famous Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi and a high quality extra virgin olive oil. The Verdicchio vineyards are beside a Castle dating from the year 1000. Stop at a hamlet of 6 people!
Dinner at a typical trattoria in another small town of 10 people.

Thursday - Buy the fresh fish at the port and cooking lesson on fish
In the early morning walk to the port to buy fresh fish, just caught, directly from the fishermen boats for our afternoon cooking lesson.
Then time to stroll in the center of Senigallia. On Thursday there is a beautiful typical Italian open market where you can walk and shop. Lunch on your own.
In the afternoon Italian cooking lesson based on fish dishes with a chef.
Dinner of your creations.

Friday - Departure day
Departure from Ancona airport or Senigallia train station after breakfast at the hotel.

I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know what a fantastic time we had. From the moment we arrived at the airport, until we left for Florence, we were well taken care of.
I loved the whole experience. I think it must be a bigger challenge with a small group dealing with different personalities / abilities. Marcello really looked after each person individually as well as in a group.
Our days were filled with plenty of activities and the bus allowed for viewing the countryside.The cooking day was great, we went to the boat to pick up the fish with the chef, we learned how to clean and prepare many dishes, and had a beautiful formal lunch service. Really great.
The truffle day was unbelievable, great.
Marcello discussed with us what our hopes were for visiting the town of my mother's grand father. He offered to take us personally. My mother was thrilled of this idea. Marcello took us to the town, we went to the town offices, met with the vice-mayor of the town. We took photos for the newspaper, They gave her a book on the city, and toured us thru the town, to see the church where my Great grandfather was baptized and sang in the choir. They opened the theater for us. Marcello really did his thing for us.
My mother was so happy. Everyone was so emotional. We did everything and more than we could have hoped for.
I can't thank you enough for putting this trip together.
