Dearest Raffaella and Marcello,
it was with so much excitement that I travelled to Italy for the first time and to discover we would be spending 5 days on a cooking tour! We have had the most lovely experience. Cooking is a passion that you cannot get sick of. It brings me so much happiness to cook and learn and doing these things with you both has been the greatest of pleasures. You invited us into your wonderful home and treated us like your friends and compatriots, we felt nothing but comfortable and welcomed. I have learnt so much but most importantly we have made lovely companions and had the most brilliant of times in a truly homely atmosphere. The kindest, most loving and fun people in Bologna - possibly all of Italy! So much love and goodwill.
